Dangerous

Im glad to hear that the site is good experience for learning psychology and counselor students.
Unfortunately there are real live at the end of their rope people coming on the site to get thru the day or morning.
Not guinea pigs. And usually not asking for much.

My advice is picture the person you love the most... Got that picture? Now picture them on this site at their lowest moment. Waiting while a thing swirls at the bottom saying "someone will be with you shortly".. And then getting a "no one is available" 10 minutes later. Imagine your loved one alone, up in the middle of the night crying and going to a "welcome" forum only to be told its only for guests and not members and that you are "clogging it up".

The person you love the most just needs an ear... A thread to hang on to and the answer is " there is no one available" and you are clogging up the guest site.

Can you now imagine your loved one in your head? Would you want them to be on their last thread and have the impression someone will help to realize its just a platform for counselors and students to learn?

The biggest problem I have with this site is that they are not representing themselves honestly. May be great for "listeners" to get points and experience but for the REAL people on the other end its a disaster... For us... If you werent depressed, stressed or otherwise... You will be after being on this site.
